Free Support Groups

Support Groups
Orange Shadow

We understand that private mental health support can be an added expense, especially with the ongoing rise in the cost of living.

At our center, we believe that no one should be denied the opportunity to access help due to financial constraints.

With this in mind, we’ve created a range of free support groups. These groups offer a starting point for individuals or families who may not currently be in a position to access our paid services.

Each group is facilitated by a qualified mental health practitioner, ensuring that professional guidance is always available. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences, conditions, or life circumstances—offering a powerful source of mutual support.

You can view our current timetable below. Please note that our schedule runs during term-time only. For updates on closures during school holiday camps, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Why Support Groups Matter

Joining a support group can offer powerful emotional and practical benefits. Here’s how they can help:

Feel less alone – Connect with others who truly understand, reducing feelings of loneliness, isolation, or judgment.

Ease emotional distress – Support groups can help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, fatigue, and stress.

Share openly and honestly – A safe space to talk about your thoughts and feelings without fear of stigma.

Build coping skills – Learn practical strategies from both professionals and peers to handle life’s challenges.

Stay on track – Get encouragement and motivation to manage your mental health and stick to treatment plans.

Find hope and empowerment – Regain a sense of control and hope for the future through shared experiences.

Deepen understanding – Gain insights into your own journey and learn more about the mental or physical health issues you’re facing.
